Children love playtime, so why not teach them toy vocabulary using these toy flashcards? Teach your students basic toy names and encourage your kids to use their vocabulary in class. Expand the conversation by talking about what toys they have at home or what their favorite toy is. Teach sentence patterns such as “I play with ~ “ or “I play on my ~ “.

Another activity could be to ask the children what toys they have and have them draw a picture of it on the board. After a few children have drawn their toy, try and construct sentences using your students vocabulary.
