How to Use These Season Flashcards
These season flashcards can be used to help children understand the four seasons and how they connect to weather, clothing, and real-life experiences.
Start by introducing one season at a time and repeat it regularly. Say the season clearly and have students repeat it, for example:
“Spring… Spring… This is Spring.”
Use the flashcards during circle time or calendar lessons to build familiarity with seasonal changes throughout the year.
Once students are confident, practise ordering the seasons in the correct sequence:
Spring → Summer → Autumn → Winter.
You can also connect learning to real life by discussing weather, clothing, and activities for each season.
These flashcards work best when used alongside months of the year and weather lessons for a complete understanding of time.
